He is also Chair of DKSH Holding AG and Medartis Holding AG, and holds board roles at Bühler Group and AVAG, drawing on his broad commercial, financial, and governance expertise. In addition, Marco is an Operating Partner at Endeavour Vision Ltd and leads his consultancy focused on cultural transformation.

From 2013 to 2019, he held the role of CEO of Straumann Group, during which he more than doubled both revenue and profits and tripled global headcount. His leadership accelerated Straumann’s value fivefold, completed successful succession planning, and placed the company at the forefront of digital and clinical innovation in its sector.

Before that, he served as CFO & Executive Vice President of Operations (2006-2008), then CFO & Regional CEO Asia Pacific at Panalpina (2008-2012), where he honed his cross-border leadership and operational strategy in a global logistics context.

Earlier, at Hero AG and Hilti, he held senior commercial and finance roles spanning Europe and Asia, and began his career in audit (Sandoz) and corporate finance (Swiss Bank Corporation).
