Meredith Hellicar
Overview
Meredith is an experienced Chair and former CEO whose senior executive career has included multiple Managing Director and CEO roles, including TNT Logistics Asia, Corrs Chambers Westgarth and InTech Financial Services, alongside a range of line, strategic and functional positions.
Her non-executive portfolio has spanned Australian public and private companies, international boards and government entities. She has operated across telecommunications, energy, resources, logistics, leisure, environment, airports, professional services and financial services, working with companies based in Australia, Asia, the USA and Europe.
As an executive, Meredith successfully led significant start-ups and transformations – strategic, cultural and operational. At TNT Logistics she led the Asia start-up and expansion, building businesses in China, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. At Corrs Chambers Westgarth she successfully merged five separate practices into a single national top-tier law firm, aligning partners behind a shared ambition and culture. Her leadership at InTech Financial Services further deepened her experience in regulated, customer-focused environments.
As a Director, Meredith has led and dealt with major crises and operational challenges, acquisitions, takeovers and divestments, always bringing a long-term, stakeholder-oriented lens to complex issues.
As a mentor, Meredith has undertaken a wide range of individual and team engagements, drawing on her broad leadership experience to help clients increase their impact on business performance and on the experiences of their customers, clients and staff. Throughout her career, Meredith has been driven by a desire to help leaders and organisations make a meaningful, sustainable difference. She works with CEOs, directors, C-suite executives and partners to build resilience, optimism, strong values and “peripheral and long-distance vision” while still delivering on demanding performance expectations. She is known for encouraging leaders to take regular time to think and to challenge their own and others’ mindsets, turning disruptive events into opportunities to enhance leadership impact, sharpen strategy and improve operational performance. Meredith was CEO (2010-2020) and Chair, Global Mentors Group, ANZ Pty Ltd 2020-2025 (previously known as CMi Merryck ANZ Pty Ltd).

Earlier in her career she was a member of the Australian delegation that negotiated the UN Convention on Climate Change and received an Eisenhower Fellowship to study change management in major companies. She was awarded a Centenary Medal for her contribution to Australian society in business leadership.
