From 2015 to 2024, Jack was Chair of the Airport Authority Hong Kong, overseeing the expansion and modernisation of one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs. Prior to this, he served as Chair of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council from 2007 to 2015, advancing Hong Kong’s position as a global trade centre. Earlier in his career, Jack held dual leadership as Chair and CEO of the Mass Transit Railway Corporation from 1995 to 2003, driving transformative growth and operational excellence in a complex, regulated environment. He subsequently became Deputy Chair and Group Managing Director of Pacific Century Cyberworks Ltd between 2003 and 2007, steering strategic development in the communications and technology sector.

Alongside his executive roles, Jack has held prominent non-executive positions on major international boards. He was an Independent Non-Executive Director of China Resources Power Holdings Company Ltd, an Independent Non-Executive Director of HSBC from 2000 to 2007, and served on the board of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd from 2002 to 2015. In addition, Jack contributed to global business and policy dialogue as a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (2008–2018) and as an International Business Adviser to the Mayor of Beijing.
