Shane Gannon
Overview
Shane Gannon is an experienced financial and property executive with more than 40 years working with market-leading ASX-listed companies. A highly regarded Chief Financial Officer, he has held senior finance leadership roles across multiple sectors including property, mining services, airlines, financial services, FMCG and industrials. Until June 2023 he was Chief Financial Officer of Endeavour Group, where he played a key role in shaping strategy, capital allocation and performance for one of Australia’s largest consumer and hospitality businesses. He now holds a portfolio of governance roles as an Independent Non-Executive Director with GPT Group and Symal Group, and as Chair of Ingenia Communities Group.
Across his executive career, Shane has held senior finance roles in a number of major public companies including Mirvac Limited, Goodman Fielder, CSR Limited, Lendlease and Dyno Nobel. This breadth has given him a deep understanding of capital-intensive, cyclical and consumer-facing businesses, as well as the expectations of public markets, rating agencies and regulators. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of CPA Australia.

• Governance, culture & stakeholder engagement – working with boards, investors and regulators to align strategy, risk, culture and values in diverse, performance-driven businesses.
Shane’s career demonstrates significant depth of ASX experience combined with an outstanding corporate finance and accounting track record. He has extensive CFO experience across the full business lifecycle – from start-up to turnaround, and from growth to restructure – and has worked closely with boards, investors and other key stakeholders through periods of change and scrutiny. He is known for embedding best-in-class strategy, governance and leadership, with a strong focus on culture, values and integrity as foundations for sustainable growth and performance.
