Steven Gregg
Overview
Steven Gregg is an experienced Chair with more than 30 years of senior leadership experience, specialising in ASX All Ordinaries and S&P/ASX 50 public companies.
Steven’s executive career spans global and Australian roles in investment banking and strategy. He held senior positions at ABN Amro, including Global Head of Investment Banking, and earlier roles at Chase Manhattan and Lehman Brothers, working across major financial centres and complex capital markets. He subsequently became a Partner at McKinsey & Company, specialising in financial services and strategy, advising boards and executive teams on growth, performance improvement and structural change.
He was previously Chair of The Lottery Corporation, Tabcorp Holdings Limited, Goodman Fielder Limited and Austock Group Limited, and a Non-Executive Director at Challenger Limited.
He is currently Chair of Westpac Banking Corporation, Ampol Limited (previously Caltex) and the Lorna Hodgkinson Foundation, and a Non-Executive Director at William Inglis & Son Limited. This breadth of governance exposure gives him a strong vantage point on strategy, risk, culture and stakeholder expectations in regulated, performance-driven environments.

• Banking & financial services – leading and advising major financial institutions, with a deep understanding of capital markets, risk and regulatory environments.
• ASX board leadership & governance – chairing and serving on boards of prominent Australian listed companies, strengthening governance, strategy and board–management effectiveness.

• Strategy, transformation & performance improvement – applying management consulting and board experience to help organisations reshape strategy, drive change and deliver sustained performance.
