Overview

Tim Score currently serves as Chair of Bridgepoint Group plc (since 2024), overseeing strategy, audit, remuneration, and board governance at the London-listed private equity group.

He also leads the Royal National Theatre’s Finance & Audit Committee, and is Chair of Chance to Shine, reflecting his commitment to cultural, sporting, and community institutions.

Tim’s earlier career included senior finance leadership at Rebus Group, William Baird plc, LucasVarity, BTR, and Arthur Andersen.

As a non-executive, Tim has chaired British Land (2019-2024) and held senior positions at Pearson (Deputy Chair and SID, until 2024), National Express (Interim Chair and SID, until 2014) and HM Treasury (2015-2021). These roles reinforced his reputation for rigorous oversight, risk frameworks, and stakeholder stewardship.

He brings deep cross-sector expertise in:

• Financial leadership & IPO strategy – embedding financial discipline at ARM through high-growth scaling and market confidence-building

• Board governance & committee chairs – constructing audit, remuneration, and nomination structures across public, private, and charity boards

• Transformation in technology & real estate – steering governance during digital acceleration and listed property sector oversight

• Civic institution stewardship – strengthening governance in sport, arts, and cultural charity sectors
