Overview
Chris has dedicated his career to building high performing professional services firms. In 2010 he joined Merryck and led a management buyout the same year. He has led high value engagements that span both multiple geographies and cultures and has a passion for fostering the highest levels of client service and quality. Chris serves on the board of Global Mentors Group’s Middle East business.
Chris holds an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School, where in 2013 he was appointed as a Professor of Practice. Attached to the Strategy and International Business Group, Chris co-directs the school’s DBA programme and specialises in Strategic Leadership & Corporate Governance, bringing the heart of business to the lecture theatre through the Practitioners’ perspective, enriching the learning experience of MBA and DBA students.
Chris’ early career included spells at both KPMG and Ernst & Young where he became National Head of Practice at E&Y UK Executive Search, Selection & Interim Management, and then joined Resources Global Professionals (Nasdaq Listed) in a senior role as Regional Managing Director & Member of the Global Leadership Team. Reporting to the Group CEO, Chris set up their UK and European Operations, was seconded to Chicago to lead the Mid West Region, before returning to London to head up the European Global and Strategic Accounts programme, where he was responsible for Pan European Business Development and Client Relationship Management.
After nine years with Resources, Chris joined the organisation in 2010 as Managing Director before becoming CEO following a management buyout later that year. In 2016, he stepped down from the role of CEO to focus on his passion for international client relationship management.
