Elin joined CMi in 2012 as Partner for the Nordics. She was appointed Senior Partner in 2018 and became Chair of CMi in January 2024. In 2026, she was appointed President of Global Mentors Group. Elin looks after Global Mentors Group clients across the globe and has managed multiple CEO succession engagements in different geographies including the Nordics, UK, Germany, Italy, and the US.

After 15 years in consulting, she started her own company as Founder and CEO of the Professional Boards Forum, an international organisation which brings together leading Chairs and women non-executive candidates in an innovative series of interactive events. She is a speaker at international conferences and corporate events on gender parity and is frequently consulted by the media as an authority on Board diversity. Since 2022 Elin has been a Senior Adviser to The 350 Club – the closed platform for FTSE350 Board members and FTSE100 leaders. She holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA from Oxford Brookes University.
